7 Signs It's Time To Change Your Coil
How to know when it's time:
Most vaping devices have a coil. But not everyone knows when to change a coil. Here are some suggestions on when to change your coil to help get a better vaping experience.
How long does a coil last?
The lifespan of a coil is depends on your vaping habits.Generally you need to change coils every 1 to 4 weeks of usage.
If you vape very frequently, you may find that your coil only lasts for between five and seven days. If you vape moderately, it may last you a couple weeks. And if you are a really light vaper, you can probably get away with only changing your coils once every month or so.
7 Signs It's Time to Change:
1. Experiencing a burnt taste when you vape.
This burnt taste is a strong sign that you need to replace your coil quickly. Your coil has already gone bad.If you continued to vape with a coil at this point, you run the risk of doing damage to other parts of your vaporizer device. Take the hint and get rid of the burnt taste by replacing your coil ASAP.
2. Vape coil or wick has burned out.
When you find your coil or wick has burned out,you have to replace it,or you can't get nice taste.
3.Your vape material doesn’t taste the way you would expect it to.
If you aren't tasting the normal flavor of your material, then there is something wrong with your coil. Change a new coil and try again, most time you can get rid this problem.
4. Your vape device makes a gurgling sound when you vape.
If you start to hear gurgling after a couple weeks of using a coil, we suggest you to change a new coil. This can mean solids have built up and created blockages.
5. Your device is leaking.
A leaky e-cigarette isn’t always the result of an old coil that needs to be replaced. Worn out O-rings or an overfilled tank can also produce a leak and cause e-juice to spill out of your e-cigarette. Storing wax and concentrate pens upside down on on their side can also allow material to leak out.
By taking your e-cigarette apart and examining the coil, you may be able to find out whether or not it is causing a leak. Improperly installed coils can leave gaps for material to leak as well.
Any leakage of material into the battery compartment can create a SAFETY ISSUE with the battery. If this happens cease using the battery immediately.
6. You have been using your coil for an extended period of time.
As we mentioned earlier, coils are not meant to last forever. Using a coil for too long will ruin your vaping experience and could cause big problems for you down the line if you don’t swap it out for a new one.
Even if a coil doesn't fail, a residue build-up eventually impacts the flavor and consistency of your coil. If you have been using your coil for more than 30 days we recommend replacing it even if there is no immediate problem.
7. Poor vapor production
When you notice your vapor production smaller and smaller after you use a coil for some time, there may be a build up of residue. Changing to a new coil will restore vapor production.
